Hello, my name is Fernando, I am from Mexico. I want to use this web site to share some personal information about me. I will be updating it frequently, hope you find it useful.
I am from Mexico City, a very big place were you can find almost everything with a lot of interesting people places to visit.
I am attracted by everything that has to be with electronics and computers, and have a special like for robots. I am also very interested in artificial intelligence. I am studying a Master on Engineering Sciences and, doing research at the School of Graduate Studies of Engineering and Architecture -EGIA- at the ITESM. And this is the link to my lab site it is called (CIA)^2.
Besides my professional interests, I also enjoy reading, I am a huge fan of Stephen King and his Dark Tower series of books, Tolkien and all of his mythology, but I also enjoy reading about philosophy and psychology. I can listen any kind of music, although I prefer to listen to rock and classical music. I am a huge fan of Pink Floyd.
I am part of a non profit organization “Con Ganas de Vivir“ that gives support to people with cancer, we are always doing events to make help them improve their quality of life and make them feel better, and also to save funds for their treatments. Since February of 2007, we are trying to get into the Guinness record by organizing the biggest encounter of motorcycles.
I also enjoy doing photography, and I am part of the collective called “LuZuL” a group of amateur and professional photographers that enjoy doing and exposing their work, you can check some of my work in my flickr site! and picasa photo gallery.
